Masters of Law

The Masters of Law (LLM) degree is a one-year program that offers both thesis and coursework streams. Students can also specialize in a specific focus of law, including Human Rights, Business, Indigenous Studies, Law & Society, Criminal Law, and Public Policy.

While the LLM and MHR programs are distinct programs, they are together the two graduate programs in Robson Hall. LLM students are welcome to join MHRSA events, and share the graduate study lounge with MHR students. An LLM student rep sits on the MHRSA Executive Team to represent the views and concerns of LLM students.
